Four of Ogier's service line teams have been promoted in the latest rankings by noted legal directory Legal 500 which see the Dispute Resolution team ranked in the top tier, and five of the firm's partners named as "Leading Individuals".

Partners Marcus Leese, Martyn Baudains, Bryon Rees, Simon Davies and Gavin Ferguson are all identified as "Leading Individuals" in the directory, which recognises 19 of the firm's lawyers from partner through to associate level.

The firm's Dispute Resolution, Employment, Insurance and Investment Funds teams were all promoted in the Legal 500 rankings, which are compiled from submissions and thousands of interviews with clients including general counsel and private practice lawyers.

Advocate Marcus Leese, the firm's managing partner in Guernsey who leads the Banking team which is described by client feedback as "a cut above the competition", said that the directory reflected the strength, breadth and growth of Ogier.

He said: "Seeing recognition for 19 of our team in the directory reflects our continued growth and our strength across all levels of experience within Ogier.

"This recognition and the promotions in our rankings are down to hard work and dedication to client service right across the firm from partners to our associates, paralegals and business services teams. It is also extremely pleasing to see that our strategic themes of responsiveness and innovation are repeated in so many of the client quotes cited by Legal 500."
