Foodie street fest now open for stall applications

Wednesday 28 February 2024

The organisers of the popular food and drink-based Seafront Sundays are inviting local businesses to book their pitches ahead of the summer season.

There will be four Eat, Drink and Be Local street parties along the Town Quay this summer and the organisers once again want to showcase those who produce food and drink in the island.

Art stalls and performance spaces are also positioned on the closed road, which are also open for applications.

Art and craft stalls will fill the seafront and all the food and drink stalls are positioned on the Crown Pier. Many of the seafront restaurants and bars also extend their al fresco areas too.

The events are on May 5, June 16, July 28, and August 25 and run from 10:00 to 17:00.

Luke Wheadon, Chair of EDABL, said: “The EDABL Street Parties are a brilliant opportunity to demonstrate the thriving food and drink sector in Guernsey and our talented local makersWe’re keen to hear from new producers or if our current pitch holders have any new products, as this is a perfect opportunity to bring them to market and promote them

“Please get in touch as we’d love you to come and try one of the events and see how you get on.”

More information and applications forms can be found online.
