Gower Financial Services has become the first Guernsey business to be granted ‘Associate’ status by the Personal Finance Society.
The award recognises Gower’s commitments to a set of core principles and code of ethics established by the PFS, and symbolises a ‘united profession’ approach to building public trust.
The PFS aims to lead financial planning firms in the UK and Channel Islands towards "higher levels of professionalism exhibited through technical knowledge, client service and ethical practice."
Gower Director Tim Cross said that the award was “testament to the hard work that our team have put in over the years.”
“I am hopeful that a number of other personal finance practices in the island will also obtain this status in order to provide the public with enhanced confidence in the industry as a whole.”
