15 HSBC female employees from the Crown Dependencies have recently completed HSBC’s inaugural leadership programme for women.
HSBC Rise was launched this year promising to promote and support young female professionals into future leadership roles in the business.
Over six months participants were involved in a series of workshops and mentoring sessions delivered by an external development expert, consultant Emma Lloyd.
Elvina Aghajanyan, Head of HR at HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man, said it was important to value diversity and inclusion as an employer.
“We are delighted for the graduates of our HSBC Rise programme and their experience over the past few months will give them a strong platform to become future leaders, as we continue to build a culture across the business that puts equity, diversity and inclusion at its core,” she added.
