EY has promoted Daniel Luwum to Assurance Partner.
Mr Luwum started working for EY in Uganda, before joining EY's Jersey office in 2018.
EY said: "Daniel has spearheaded key initiatives that facilitate the success of EY’s clients. With a deep understanding of the ever-changing regulatory landscape, Daniel has driven the development of an EY thought leadership programme that serves as a platform to discuss critical topics on local business leaders’ agendas, including blockchain, ESG, forensics, and operational resilience.
"By facilitating these discussions, Daniel has supported local clients in staying well-informed and equipped to navigate local business challenges and opportunities."
EY's CI Managing Partner, Dan Saunders, said it's an exciting time for Mr Luwum to be joining the leadership team.
"During his time with EY, Daniel has consistently demonstrated unwavering professionalism and dedication to his clients and to delivering exceptional client service. His influential role in our CI DE&I working party, aimed at nurturing underrepresented talent and championing initiatives that support individuals in embracing their true selves, has already proven successful.”
