Equiom makes its mark at the 2018 Citywealth Magic Circle Awards

International professional services provider Equiom has been awarded Runner Up in the category of Large Trust Company of the Year at this year’s Citywealth Magic Circle Awards.

The ceremony took place at the Hilton London Bankside on 10 May 2018 and among Equiom’s attendees were, Sheila Dean - Equiom Global CEO -, Jo Gorrod -Equiom Jersey -, Charles Crossley - Equiom Isle of Man -, and Matt Tabb - Equiom Global Head of Corporate Communications.

"This accolade is of particular significance as over the past year, we have achieved a great deal to make us one of the leading providers in the sector," Ms Dean said.

"With a growing team of more than 600 professionals worldwide, we now have a presence in 16 different jurisdictions spanning Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Over the past year alone, we completed 5 acquisitions and added new expertise and service lines. I have never been more proud of the team at Equiom and am honoured that we have been recognised for all of our tremendous accomplishments."

Citywealth is a leading news source for the private wealth sector and holds regular events, meetings and training sessions with the purpose of bringing together ultra high-net-worth clients and their advisers and managers. The Magic Circle Awards is an annual ceremony that celebrates the best advisers and managers in the global private wealth sector.

Equiom was assessed through a rigorous set of criteria including technical expertise, growth over the past year in terms of client value and staff, innovative solutions to private client challenges, client service development through new services and initiatives, and leadership and vision, among others.

The winners were selected following both public voting and judging by a panel of ten global industry experts.
