The States of Guernsey have appointed the island's Data Protection Authority, a week before new laws come into force.
Six people have been appointed to act as the Authority, with voting powers, with effect from 25 May 2018.
The Committee for Home Affairs was successful in nominating three people who will serve for a period of five years:
The States also appointed three members for a period of four years:
The Authority appointments were approved during yesterday's States meeting.
