Creasey's put on a special welcome for two regular customers this week who were marking their 60th wedding anniversary.
The department store was made aware that a couple, called Shirley and Joe, had reached their landmark anniversary and would be in Guernsey for the occasion.
They visit the island every year to see their daughter and always head to Creasey's coffee shop for a snack and a drink which they did yesterday.
In a statement, Creasey's said "we were extremely honoured to welcome Shirley and Joe who are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today."
The store's managers, including Chairman of the company Tony Creasey, were there to present the couple with flowers during their refreshment break in St Peter Port.
The gesture was welcomed by Creasey's customers including Sondra Kolins who said, "that's why I love Guernsey so much, it's so 'old school'."
Jean Elwin said it was a "lovely gesture" while Keira Kiki said "that's called taking care of your regulars."
