Coding the common theme in "festival" of expert speakers

Tuesday 12 October 2021

A coding "festival" showcased innovation across a wide range of digital and creative applications.

The week focused on bringing a wide range of expert knowledge, awareness and the opportunity to learn some digital skills at all levels.

Over 200 people got involved with the range of workshops, talks and panels - all focused on the importance of upskilling and gaining useful digital skills that can be applied in a range of areas.

The Digital Greenhouse was joined by experts from Avado Learning, Agilisys, ESH Solutions, PwC Channel Islands, Careers Guernsey, the States of Guernsey and the University of the 3rd Age.

National Coding Week concluded with the technology festival, Future Rewired, sponsored by Prosperity 24/7 and organised by the Digital Greenhouse, which is now in its 3rd year.

Lucy Kirby, Director of the Digital Greenhouse commented, "Once again, we have been blown away by the range of Guernsey speakers showcasing innovation across a wide range of digital and creative applications. Future Rewired is a perfect example of this community coming together to share their knowledge and encourage others to be a part of the digital future of the island."
