Cleland & Co promotes new Managing Director

Wednesday 09 December 2020

Cleland & Co has promoted Vicki Webster to Managing Director, with founder Harry Dick-Cleland becoming the firm's Chairman.

Mrs Webster, who is Mr Dick-Cleland's daughter, will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of the family-run business.

“I’m very pleased to start my new role and am excited to lead Cleland & Co into the future,” said Mrs Webster.

“My vision is to continue providing a high-quality experience across our core service offerings – accounting, tax and audit. We have a diverse client portfolio and a varied skill set within the team which will maintain our success as we continue to grow.

“I’m glad we’re still able to draw on Harry’s grey matter and experience. His years running the firm are invaluable and his support is a great bonus for the business.”

Mr Dick-Cleland is not retiring and will continue to operate in an advisory capacity with a focus on client engagement. He will support the senior team of Mrs Webster, Sammie Cox and Laura Campbell with their future growth and emphasis on building client relationships.

“I look forward to using my experience, local industry knowledge and expertise to support Vicki, the team and our clients,” Mr Dick-Cleland said. “I have always enjoyed networking and building relationships and I’ll get to do more of this in my new role.”

“As my daughter, Vicki has experience and knowledge of the business from both a personal and professional perspective. She will ensure that Cleland & Co stays true to the values we have developed over 17 years.”

Cleland & Co is a Guernsey-owned, independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors.
