Brooks Macdonald settles into new office

Thursday 16 March 2023

Brooks Macdonald International has relocated to new premises in Guernsey as part of an ongoing mission to embed sustainability within its operations.

All Guernsey-based staff at the firm have now moved into the new offices at Hirzel Court in St. Peter Port, which have been recently refurbished from kitchen to boardroom with energy efficiency in mind.

The move is part of measures set to reduce the firms’ emissions by the end of 2023, with the ultimate target of meeting net-zero by 2030. It also has a dedicated sustainability working group, adheres to global standards and operates a reuse and recycle policy.

James Hollowell, Head of Guernsey at Brooks Macdonald, said: “Moving to an office that offers greater opportunity to operate in a more sustainable way is a real step forward towards meeting our net zero targets.

“It also positions us well for the future in Guernsey, providing a dedicated space that supports hybrid and agile working in a modern, fit-for-purpose environment in which our colleagues can thrive.”

Brooks Macdonald International has offices in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man and is responsible for the Group’s international strategy, acting as its discretionary investment management hub for trustees, professional advisers, private clients and charities across Europe, South Africa, and the Middle East.
