Two officers have transferred from the UK to join Bailiwick Law Enforcement following its recruitment campaign.
Louise and Richard Batten from Kent Police will shortly join their new colleagues on the frontline of local policing.
“Officers joining from other forces increases the diverse skillset within Bailiwick Law Enforcement and their contributions will be, I am sure, immensely valuable to the organisation," said Head of Law Enforcement Ruari Hardy.
"I look forward to seeing them settle in and start a new chapter not only in their careers here with Guernsey Police, but in their lives by moving to our wonderful island.”
Head of Learning and Development for Law Enforcement James Bell welcomed the new recruits.
“We are delighted to welcome these officers to the Bailiwick Law Enforcement family from Kent Police," he said.
"After their initial induction training they will join their operational shifts and I am sure the skills and experience they bring with them will prove highly valuable to our Community – their new home.”
