Bedell Cristin appoints new Managing Partner

Tuesday 03 September 2019

Offshore law firm, Bedell Cristin, has appointed a new Global Managing Partner.

Tim Pearce has taken over from David Cadin, who was in the role for three years.

Mr Pearce joined the firm in 2003 and has played a key role in leading some of its highest-profile corporate finance and real estate finance transactions, as well as growing the corporate team globally.

In recent years, he has been actively involved in helping manage the firm in addition to his client work. Mr Pearce led the merger with Solomon Harris, which has given Bedell Cristin a presence in the Cayman Islands.

"I'm looking forward to taking on this role and continuing the great work David has delivered over the past three years," he said.

"The firm has gone from strength to strength under his leadership and a strong client service and continuous improvement culture has been embedded at Bedell Cristin's core. I aim to continue the progress David has made in establishing ourselves as a truly independent offshore law firm that clients repeatedly choose to work with."

Mr Cadin will retain his position as Jersey Managing Partner.

"I've thoroughly enjoyed the last three years and it's gratifying to see the many improvements we've made as a firm," he added. "Tim and I will work closely to ensure his transition to Global Managing Partner is seamless, and I have no doubt he will continue to impress with his expertise and commercial outlook to grow Bedell Cristin even further."
