Audit, tax and advisory firm BDO has become the first Guernsey business to achieve platinum champion partner status with online accounting software provider, Xero.

BDODrive offers a range of business services and outsourcing solutions alongside support with platforms such as Xero.

Client Manager for BDODrive Craig Shorto said: "Through our local BDODrive services, we offer our clients access to cloud-based tools that enable them to manage and access their business finances easily, allowing them to work productively and focus on what they do best.

"Xero is at the forefront of the products we work with and is proving to be particularly popular with our clients for its ease of use and for its task automating functionality. We’re thrilled to have earned the Platinum Champion status because it demonstrates our deep knowledge of Xero and our commitment to delivering exceptional client service."

Xero is a cloud-based platform which allows businesses to access all their financial information in real time from anywhere. Along with its app add-on partners, it covers many areas of financial management from timesheets to financial reporting.
