Private bank ABN AMRO has donated 50 tickets for the Pirate Bay Adventure Golf attraction to Autism Guernsey.

The donation is part of the bank's involvement with The Golf Academy and has allowed small groups of children and adults supported by the charity to visit the attraction over the past few weeks.

"We visited just before half term and it was thoroughly enjoyable to do something active, outside and a lot of fun," said Autism Guernsey family support worker, Katie Sweeney.

The groups have been visiting the course at quiet times to best suit their needs.

Operations Director at The Golf Club, Kirstie Trudgeon commented: "Golf is very inclusive and there are many different ways to access it; the driving range, The Pirate Bay miniature golf and academy lessons can all help people to get involved. We have numerous groups that take advantage of our facilities. It was clear that everyone from Autism Guernsey had a very enjoyable time when they visited."

Patric Wyser from the CSR committee at ABN AMRO added: "We are really pleased that our tickets were so well received by Autism Guernsey. The feedback from the charity has been really positive."
