Leading offshore law firm Appleby has welcomed three new Associates to the Group’s Guernsey office, further strengthening their Dispute Resolution and Corporate teams.
Andrew Murphy and Gary Orritt have joined their Dispute Resolution department and Jennifer Rosser their Corporate department.
Mr Murphy has acted for a portfolio of clients including insolvency practitioners, receivers and high street lenders, dealing with a range of insolvency litigation, non-contentious corporate restructuring and general commercial litigation.
Mr Orritt has experience in advising clients on different aspects of litigation and dispute resolution, after working within large UK law firms. He has a substantial level of experience, gained over the last six years, in working in insurance based litigation. Over that time, he acted for several major UK based multi-national insurers. His work also focuses on trusts, insolvency, corporate litigation, employment and regulatory.
Ms Rosser has been involved in a broad range of corporate and commercial transactions on a regional and national level advising on acquisitions and disposals, commercial contracts, corporate governance matters and data protection, with particular reference to compliance with the new regulations.
