Appleby maintains top chambers global rank

Wednesday 28 February 2018

The international Private Client and Trusts practice at Appleby, led by Cayman Islands Partner Carlos de Serpa Pimentel, has once again been highly ranked by Chambers Global 2018 in the International Private Client: Offshore Firms – Global category.

As one of only two global firms ranked by Chambers in Band one in this space, Appleby said it feels it continues to be highly regarded as a leading offshore law firm advising high net worth individuals, fiduciary companies and family offices on a full range of private wealth, trusts and estates matters.

Appleby has trust and private client specialists in many of the key offshore financial centres worldwide, including Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Jersey, Hong Kong and the Isle of Man.

Staff also advise on the laws of the British Virgin Islands and Mauritius. One of the strengths noted by market insiders is the ‘international reach of the firm, praising its private client profile and practitioners’.

“Our private client team has diverse skill sets and substantial expertise globally, and it is inspiring that we have continued to maintain our top tier rankings year after year,” said Mr de Serpa Pimentel.

“Congratulations to the whole team for achieving this recognition which demonstrates our commitment to our client base and to the high calibre of lawyers and practitioners who practice at Appleby.”

Chambers and Partners identifies and ranks the most outstanding law firms worldwide. They have been ranking the best lawyers since 1990, and now cover 185 jurisdictions.
