With technological innovation transforming businesses and markets across the world, Appleby’s Global Technology & Innovation Group has launched its 2019 Technology and Innovation Offshore Guide and associated microsite.
The 2019 Guide covers eight of the world’s largest offshore jurisdictions to provide clients with a single resource to help them identify the most suitable jurisdiction and structure for their technology projects.
To coincide with this launch, Appleby has also developed a dedicated microsite to showcase the latest legal updates, regulatory changes and other developments in the technology sector.
Speaking on the launch of the guide, Steven Rees-Davies and Peter Colegate, Joint Heads of the Global Technology & Innovation Group commented: “With each of our jurisdictions taking different approaches to how they regulate emerging technologies and with the increasingly global regulation of data privacy, AML and other compliance requirements, the need for a single resource that brings together our legal and regulatory knowledge and expertise in this sector across all of our offices was self-evident. Through the use of our new microsite and 2019 Guide we are able to communicate and service our clients’ needs more effectively”.
