Agilisys Guernsey announces new Head of Projects

Friday 23 October 2020

Agilisys Guernsey, the States of Guernsey’s technology and transformation partner, has appointed Samantha Brehaut as the organisation’s Head of Projects.

It follows a string of new hires earlier this year, including the appointment of Shona Leavey as Head of IT Services.

With a background in HR Operations as well as Learning and Development, Ms Brehaut brings a "people-focused approach" to project management, gained through leading complex organisation change and transformation programmes.

In her new role at Agilisys, she will manage a team of 10 Project Management specialists supporting ‘business as usual’ IT and bringing into service the States’ transformed IT estate.

"I’m really excited to have joined Agilisys Guernsey to lead the Projects Team," she said. "As a new parent, I’ve been really impressed with the flexible working arrangements offered by Agilisys, which is enabling me to balance caring for my daughter with my professional life.

"It’s both a huge responsibility and a privilege to be part of the team supporting the States to modernise our island's public services and I’m looking forward to seeing our work help make a difference to the whole community."

Agilisys Guernsey Partnership Director Ashley Roper said of her appointment: "Sam’s insight into behaviour and culture change gained through her experience in delivering people focused transformation projects will be invaluable as we work in partnership with the States to roll out transformed IT services. In addition, her background in Learning and Development will help to support our comprehensive skills development programme for all our employees."
