Recently the GSPCA had two amazing donations dropped off at a social distance. Agnieszka Wood who is a wonderful supporter of the GSPCA made over 30 homemade face masks.

These included not only rainbow coloured masks but also some with dogs on all of which the team are hugely grateful for.

Ana Amaral GSPCA Animal Care Assistant said “Really love the new facemasks they are great.”

Beckie Bailey Animal Care Assistant said “Thank you so much for my rainbow coloured mask its fantastic.”

Steve Byrne GSPCA Manager said “We cannot thank Agnieszka Wood enough for her time to make these wonderful masks to ensure our team are safe.”

“We use a range of PPE or Personal Protective Equipment at the GSPCA but we are all struggling to get supplies of some items so these masks have been issued to the 30 essential team members ensuring we care for the animals at the GSPCA and provide our 24/7 service.”

“Working at the GSPCA we have all been working hard to ensure social distancing but with some animals needing two to handle and medicate these masks will be a huge help for when we have to work closer together for those essential animal welfare reasons.”

“We have had some amazing donations from these masks to those donating to our much needed #GSPCACoronavirusCrisisAppeal and if you would like to donate you can do so by calling 01481 257261, by post or online via our web page https://giving.gg/donate/event/5876/GSPCA-Coronavirus-Emergency-Appeal .”

“Without your support the GSPCA couldn’t achieve so much caring and helping over 3000 animals every year.”

“If any business would like to support our work in any way from making donations to wish list items we would love to hear from you and please call us or email me steve@gspca.org.gg “
