MEDIA RELEASE: The views expressed in this article are those of the author and not Bailiwick Express, and the text is reproduced exactly as supplied to us

In line with States of Guernsey advice please DO NOT visit the GSPCA if you are over 65, have an underlying health condition or have any symptoms of corona virus and only visit us if your visit is essential but before doing so please call us on 257261 or email admin@gspca.org.gg before your trip to the GSPCA to see if we can help without you coming to the Shelter.

With huge challenges on our resources and a drop in income from boarding and donations please help us help animals in Guernsey by donating online via - https://giving.gg/donate/charity/2/Guernsey-Society-for-the-Prevention-of-Cruelty-to-Animals-(GSPCA)

We have put a helpful table together to help explain our current services at this time, which are constantly being reviewed -

We continue to rehome animals in our care. Home visits will not be carried out, but we will endeavor to assess prospective owners' environments using pictures and videos/video calling

We are restricting the Ambulance Service to sick, injured and stray animals

Boarding

We continue to board pets, but we will be taking measures to ensure the people dropping off and collecting their animals do not put staff at risk. We will not be accepting boarders from people who are having to self-isolate.
