There’s something for everyone at this year’s Barclays Jersey Boat Show, taking place from

Saturday 29 April to Monday 1 May.

The Boat Show remains the largest free event in the Channel Islands, meaning it’s the perfect excuse to get together, catch up with family and friends, sit back, relax, and soak up the atmosphere.

If you’ve been to the Boat Show before, you might notice a few changes this year.

As always, you can expect to be wowed by the amazing yachts and watercraft on display in the marina or enjoy strolling around the range of stalls showcasing the latest maritime gadgets and lifestyle products and services. If you like being active on the water, wander down Albert Pier and check out the stalls or watch the displays and demonstrations in Geomarine’s Outdoor & Active Zone. You can also go out on the water with trips organised by our exhibiting partners Le Mourier and Jersey Duchess.

Relax...
For a more relaxed time, Weighbridge Place is home to our new entertainment village. If music’s your thing, enjoy the finest local talent in our packed entertainment programme on the Solent Stevedores Main Stage. We also cater for families, with the popular Kids’ Zone, which this year has moved to Weighbridge Place. You can also sample a great selection of food and drink stalls nearby.

Graze...
You won’t go hungry as your tastebuds will be in for a treat with a wide choice of delicious food and drink options throughout the arena. New for 2023, we’ve created a catering village on New North Quay, which includes The North Quay Bar, featuring delicious seafood and cocktails.

Royal Navy ...
The New North Quay Marine Exhibitor area of the Show has been extended this year, to link the Show up with the new Military Village by the Steam Clock.

Royal Navy will have a mixture of landside assets in the Military Village, including their Mobile Outreach Vehicle, Royal Marine Commando Recruit Troop with the Weapons Dome and the Beaverfit gym.

On the water, we’re looking forward to welcoming the Royal Navy’s HMS Hurworth, a Hunt Class Mine Counter Measure Vessel, which will be berthed along Victoria Pier. You can book your tickets via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/hms-hurworth-ship-tour-tickets-603820171387.

Other assets on display in St Helier Marina, are the Royal Navy’s P2000 Archer Craft Patrol Vessel, HMS Puncher.

Royal Navy assets are subject to change based on operational duties

A treat this year...
One of the highlights of the year will no doubt be climbing on board the Götheborg of Sweden, the world’s largest ocean-going wooden sailing ship, which will be visiting Jersey for the first time. You can go on board between 10am and 6pm on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets cost £10 for adults and £5 for children (under-fives go free). You can book your slot in advance by visiting https://tickets-goetheborg.snec.de/shops/225. Or you can pay on the day by card or cash at the landside exhibitor stand in Geomarine’s Outdoor & Active Zone.

Caring for our environment...
At the Barclays Jersey Boat Show, we’re working hard to reduce our environmental impact, while making sure the event remains as enjoyable as possible for everyone who attends. As the Show promotes the marine leisure community and encompasses all things ocean-related, it's our responsibility to ensure that the marinas and harbours remain clean for the future enjoyment of all mariners.

All exhibitors have been provided with an eco-guide, outlining ways they can help us in achieving our green aims. These include limiting single-use plastic, avoiding balloons and confetti and considering ways of distributing food waste at the end of the show. Visitors can do their bit by travelling to the Boat Show in an eco-friendly way or by topping up their water bottles at Jersey Water’s free water stations throughout the arena.
