My name is Mike Gordon Guy Garrett. I offer Experience, Knowledge, Commitment, and Passion.
I have served on our Town Douzaine Committee for the last eight years in all sections of our St Peter Port Douzainers organisation. I am a proud father and grandfather with several relatives living in town.
I have also been able to serve as Deputy for the Castel Parish, on the Scrutiny and Public Accounts States committees and as a Deputy Minister for Culture and Leisure on the Policy Council too. I moved back into St Peter Port in 2012.
I was President of the Guernsey Hotel and Tourism Association and have been a hotelier and catering manager all my working career including facilities management at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital and managing the OGH hotel in Town.
Please give me your vote as Douzenier on Wednesday 16 November at the Constables Office or Beau Sejour.

If successful I will be pleased to offer teamwork continuity and experience for the third time at a time of rapid change. I work well with the team and Constable Zoe Lihou.
It has been an honour and a pleasure for me, Mike Garrett, to work for the town and parish for the past eight years serving you on a number of committees including the old Town Christmas lights committee, Floral St Peter Port, Liberation Day, many parish events for the older members of our parish and still working hard on the communications based Townie magazine committee. I work hard and have a good attendance record and commitment level to serve.
I also believe in and actively support helping disabled people and worked with two States Disabled Peoples Champions as a team support for Arun Wilkie and John Gollop. I also have supported hard of hearing and walking groups and help with an overseas charity supporting Vietnam formed by the late Barry Paint with Jenny Tasker and Judge Cherry Macmillan for the past ten years.
Working for St Peter Port all year around, out and about, representing the Town at Remembrance and other civic and important events has been a complete pleasure and honour for me, to support and work on so many parts of the parish.
I want to further tackle litter bad behaviour and crime in Town, improve amenities and work for a fair and just Guernsey and St Peter Port.
We must continue in challenging times to stand up for the values of life that have made us so SPECIAL in the past .
I would welcome any calls on any matter on 07781 103050.
Thanking you.
