The World Bowls Indoor Championship is entering the stage where there is little room to slip up.

With one game to go in the group stages, Jason Greenslade remains unbeaten in the singles.

He beat Guillaume Hertzog from France yesterday 10-2, 16-1 and is three points clear at the top of section three.

Rosie Ogier suffered her first singles loss in section five of the women's singles.

She came up against Sandra Bailie amd the 5-5, 10-2 result moved Bailie one place ahead of her into second in that group but level on points.

In the mixed pairs, Alison Merrien has teamed up with Sweden's Olle Backgren. After an opening day loss, they have won three games on the bounce, the latest 9-4, 9-2 against Jersey's Lindsey Greechan and Derek Boswell, to head their section.

Greenslade and Ogier added to their previous two wins in section five, beating Spanish pairing of Lisa and Pete Bonsor 11-9, 6-6.
