Guernsey titles were settled at the Rohais Badminton Hall this weekend.

Trebert joined with Maxine Fitzgerald to beat Charlotte Barnes and Kiara Mills in the women’s doubles; she then won the mixed doubles alongside brother David, beating Tapp and Naomi Priest.

David and Tapp took the men’s doubles with a win against Jonny Holmes and Andy Ward.

In the vets doubles, Andre Sidaner and Wendy Trebert beat Chris Stagg and Josza Stoeckmann in the mixed, while Sidaner partnered Kevin Le Moigne in a win over Stagg and John Cook in the men’s.

All the action is available on the Guernsey Badminton Youtube channel.

In rugby, St Jacques Vikings remarkable winning run has come to an end.

They lost 59-24 away in the top of the table clash against Sandown & Shanklin in the Isle of Wight and now sit second in Counties 2 Hampshire.
