Heather Watson will step out for her first final of the year at the Brisbane International.
Watson is playing with Greet Minnen in the doubles and earlier today they saw off the Spanish duo of Cristina Bucsa and Alexandra Panova in a hard fought match.

Bucsa/Panova took the first set 6-2 before the thing swung.
Watson/Minnen took the next set 6-4 before things went to a 10-point tie-break in the third.
They won that 10-8 to win a place in tomorrow’s final where they will play the number five seeds Jelena Ostapenko and Lyudmyla Kichenok.
The final is scheduled for the day session.
Earlier in the tournament, Watson lost out in the qualifying stages of the women’s singles to Zeynep Sonmez (6-3, 1-6, 3-6).
