St Jacques have announced a series of changes in leadership as they prepare to step up a level.
They will go into their Counties 1 Hampshire campaign aiming for a top three finish with Layton Batiste as the new head coach, who brings with him the knowledge gained from more than 300 caps for Guernsey Raiders.
He has pledged to bring a more attacking, expansive style to the team, echoing the Raiders.
His assistant coaching team will be formed of other well known faces from the local rugby scene, Blair Campbell, Luke Sayer, Dave McGall and Dan Brown.
On the playing side, Tom Veillard has been named as captain and Chris Croft as vice captain.
