The new home of Guernsey football could boast a state of the art illuminated score board screen when it opens next year.
A planning application has been submitted for the structure, which will be built to the west of the facility if approved.
The application was submitted by JW Rihoy and Son - the builder - with Lovell Ozone & Partners Ltd working as its agent.
A public consultation on the proposed structure will be open this month, between 9 and 23 August. More details are available HERE.
Public Health, through the Committee for Health and Social Care, will be asked its thoughts on the proposal through this same consultation.
The new stadium on Victoria Avenue will be the first ever permanent home for the Guernsey FA and the new home ground of Guernsey FC when it opens next year.
It is due to welcome its first spectators in March.
The name, 'Victoria Park' was chosen to reflect the stadium’s location on Victoria Avenue and the ground’s recreational and unifying identity.
Designed by Guernsey-based architects Lovell Ozanne, and project-managed by Jason Powers Consultants, the stadium comprises substantial seated and standing spectator capacity, a world-class 3G pitch and training area, and a contemporary clubhouse.

Rihoy & Son commenced work at the site in July 2023 and the buildings are now wind and watertight, with the pitch’s final playing surface is due to be laid in early autumn.
The project will cost approximately £10m and is being funded by a £1.175m grant from the Premier League, The FA and Government’s Football Foundation as well as a £150,000 grant from the Premier League Stadium Fund. Additional funding has come from private donations and The Football Association HQ Grant.
A Victoria Park website and social media platforms - bearing the facility's contemporary green logo which is an abstract reflection of both blades of grass and a football - have been launched.
Developed by local agency Stratagem, the branding is designed to support the inclusivity of the community venue, with football firmly at its heart.
