Vale Rec have won the Priaulx League for the first time since 2003.
Their 16th title was secured last night with two games to spare when the only other team still in the race, Northerners, were beaten 4-1 by St Martin’s at Blanche Pierre Lane.
It is not the end of the quest for silverware for Mark Romeril’s side, who face Rovers in the Stranger Cup final on Friday night, kicking off at 19:30 at BPL.
They will play the Jersey league champions in the Upton early in May.
