Tour des Ports de la Manche keeps drawing sailors back

More than 60 yachts will sail into Guernsey next month for the 2024 edition of the Tour des Ports de la Manche.

Entries are still coming in for the annual event, which this year sets off from Jersey on Sunday 7 July.

Boats then head to Granville and Barneville Carteret, before coming to Guernsey on the evening of Tuesday 9 July.

They will then move on to Dielette the next day, before sailing to Cherbourg and finishing in Saint-Vaast La Hougue on Friday 12 July.

"The 2024 edition of the Tour des Ports de la Manche promises to be exceptional. It is already possible to say that it will be unique since the start of the event will be from Jersey," said Jean Morin, Mange Departmental Council president.

"On the other hand, what does not change is the very strong spirit of conviviality which has characterised the race since its origin. Proof of this is the large number of participants who come for the first time and wish to repeat the experience."
