Guernsey’s cricketers have maintained their 100% record in their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Sub-regional Europe Qualifier campaign.
They beat Malta on a damp afternoon at KGV yesterday.
The drizzle delayed the start of the match, with Guernsey captain Ollie Nightingale opting to bowl first.
Malta produced some big hitting, but eventually finished short of what they would have wanted reaching 140 after a run out on the last ball of their innings.

Guernsey’s openers Josh Butler and Ben Fitchet produced a solid platform when they put on 51 before the latter went for 32.
Tom Nightingale went to work with 35 from 18 balls, before Matt Stokes joined Josh Butler, who was named man of the match, at the crease to see Guernsey home in just 13.5 overs.
