Jack Rees is the FNB Cross Country Series men’s champion after a commanding victory at St Germain.
The third of the four race series was held over a new course at St Germain, with sapping conditions underfoot.
Rees finished nearly two minutes clear of George Mason, who had a great tussle with Ethan Woodhead before stretching clear by seven seconds in the closing stages of the six lap encounter for Division One athletes.

Nix Petit was the leading women, competing over four laps.

She established an early gap over U20 Eleanor Jamieson which she maintained to finish 22 seconds clear. Abbie Swain was third.

The series finishes at Home Farm on Saturday 15 February with the women's title still up for grabs.
