Seb Priaulx will be back on the grid in a Ford Multimatic Motorsport Mustang GT3 for the 2025 WeatherTech Championship as part of a line-up blending youth and experience.
The Mustang GT3 made its debut in Grand Touring Daytona Pro class in 2024, improving through the campaign to secure two podium spots.
The team has now radically shaken up the line-up.
Priaulx will join the experienced German Mike Rockenfeller in the no. 64 car, while Christopher Mies and Frédéric Vervisch will be in the no.65.
"I'm excited about this driver line-up," said Mark Rushbrook, Global Director at Ford Performance Motorsports.
"It is a fast line-up that will allow us to build on our performance in 2024, and I look forward to seeing what this team will accomplish in the coming season.
"Now it's time to get back on the track and take those next steps toward turning the Mustang GT3 into a consistent race winner."
He described Priaulx as "already a champion and an IMSA race winner which makes him an exciting prospect for us."
The first WeatherTech Championship test session took place at Daytona this weekend.
The Ford Multimatic Motorsports drivers filled the top five fastest lap places, with the 65 car the quickest.
Ben Barker, in the no. 64, and Dennis Olsen will join the team at the endurance events in 2025.
Priaulx was leading this year's GTD Pro championship with teammate Lars Heinrich in the AO Racing Porsche 911 GT3 R after wins at Long Beach and Detroit, but then parted ways, with the team saying it was to allow him to focus on increasing obligations with Multimatic Motorsports.
AO Racing went on to win the GTD Pro championship by just four points.
The 2025 WeatherTech Championship season opens with the annual Roar Before the Rolex 24, 17-19 January, leading into the Rolex 24 At Daytona, 23-26 January.
