Since its inception, Guernsey Athletics’ Night of the 5000s has been a platform to encourage people to get a taste of track running in a friendly, party atmosphere.
With a supporting cast of junior, masters and mile races, it was a packed agenda for this year’s edition, sponsored by Skipton.
James Priest (15:58.96) and Constance Nankivell (16:29.56) led proceedings home in the headline A-Race as the wind ripped through Footes Lane.
