Entries are now open for the annual Butterfield Half Marathon.
“We will be using the same fast, flat and scenic course that has proven so popular with our runners in the past. The team is already working hard on plans to make the 2024 race day a very special one for everyone taking part - whether they are local runners or those joining us from overseas,” said Guernsey Athletics’ Endurance Director Chris Gillman.
“As winter approaches, it can be harder for people to find the motivation to get out and run. So we’d encourage everyone to get their entries in as soon as possible so they have something to focus on, while also taking advantage of the early bird rates.”
The Managing Director of Butterfield Bank, Richard Saunders, said the event is aimed at experienced and novice runners alike.
“We want to build on the momentum of what was a great race this year and hopefully give people a target they can work towards over the next 12 months,” added Gillman.
“People might consider using some of Guernsey Athletics’ other upcoming events to help towards that goal too. We’ve got something for everyone whether that’s on the road, cross country or on the track.”
