Organisers of a trail running festival in Jersey are hoping to attract visitors to the event.

Jersey Trail-Fest will take place on 4 May at Les Landes Race Course, with a range of distances to appeal to different abilities.

There will be a 5km, 10km, 10 mile, 20 mile option as well the iconic 40 mile Double Top Ultra.

“Our festival is more than just a series of races; it's a celebration of the local running community, the joy of running, and the breathtaking beauty of our island,” said Trail Monkey owner Paul Burrows.

“We are looking to welcome runners from Guernsey and further afield for the inaugural event. The event hopefully has a distance for every runner from 5km through to 40 miles, so I am hoping it will be a great day for the running community here in Jersey.”
