A large shark, believed to be a porbeagle, has been caught on camera after two fishermen spotted it off the coast of Guernsey.
A video taken by Brandon La Touche, had been viewed more than 12,000 times, and had also been shared by more than 400 people at the time of writing.
The fishing trip is believed to have taken place off Cobo this week onboard Mr La Touche's commercial fishing boat the GU114 Anna J.

Porbeagle sharks have been spotted in Guernsey waters before.
Local marine biologist Richard Lord wrote that a number have been caught locally in recent years, and that the species is listed as vulnerable on the IUCN red list.
Historical documents held by the Priaulx Library suggest sharks have been swimming in local waters for hundreds of years, with a Mr Bichard catching one at St Sampson's Harbour in 1847.
Porbeagles can grow to more than eight feet/2.5metres long and can weigh up to 300lbs. They are mostly found in cold and temperate waters in the North Atlantic.
Under rules set by Public Health during the covid-19 lockdown. commercial fishing is allowed.
