Urgent improvements are necessary to food handling, safety, and cleanliness at the Venture Inn after a recent States hygiene inspection resulted in no stars for the premises.
Forest Bakery, which operates from the same building, was also handed zero-stars by inspectors.
The inspection occurred on 25 May.
Randalls - which owns the Venture Inn, and Forest Bakery - has been approached for comment.
Environmental Health staff assess businesses on how they prepare, heat, cool and store food, how clean and ventilated the building is, what hand washing, and pest control measures are in place, and if staff have good knowledge of whether food is safe to serve. Paperwork must also be in order and up to date.
All firms which supply or prepare food are subject to these ratings.
Bruce Russel Kiosk, based in St. Saviour, was inspected on the same day and received a one-star rating, indicating a need for “major improvements”.
