A pop-up shop selling second hand vinyls and CDs will open one last time as it celebrates a successful, short-lived run on Fountain Street.
The shop was being run by the Vale Earth Fair and was launched in the run up to Christmas. It proved so successful that it continued operating well into January.
The pop-up has been open every Saturday throughout January and also sold memorabilia and VEF merchandise.
“We always knew it was a short-term arrangement” said VEF Collective member Rob Roussel, “but unfortunately we have to clear out after this weekend to allow the new tenants to start work on their new venture."
The shop sold some particularly notable items, including a box full of Queen singles and a complete Iron Maiden 12" box set.
It will open one last time this Saturday [27 January].
“We are planning on some live acoustic music while we are open on Saturday to entertain shoppers” said Rob, “and we’ve had some great donations recently which helps keep our stock fresh."
Profits from the shop are going to a humanitarian aid cause for Gaza.
