Vaccination clinics that are scheduled for this weekend are going ahead as planned, with extra protective measures.
Public Health Services have liaised with Primary Care colleagues and staff administering the vaccines will be wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and ensuring the necessary social distancing measures are in place.
Any health and care staff who were scheduled to have their vaccine at the mini vaccination hub at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital are now asked to attend the Community Vaccination Centre at Beau Sejour.
The wearing of a face covering is strongly recommended and all those attending are asked to use the hand sanitising stations that are available.
Meanwhile, we are told that the Community Vaccination Centre will open as planned this Monday.
"We would like to assure all individuals booked to have their vaccine from Monday that their safety is our paramount aim, the centre has been designed to enable social distancing and staff will be wearing PPE," said HSC.
"The wearing of a face covering (mask or staff) is strongly recommended and all those attending are asked to use the hand sanitising stations that can be found around the venue."
