'Trick or treating' will be slightly different this year, with Guernsey Police warning those planning to knock on doors over the weekend to be aware of people who are self-isolating or shielding.
Law Enforcement has created a poster for people in quarantine to stick in their windows or on their door, so trick or treaters know whether to approach their home or not.
The new poster is available to download along with a poster for people who aren't isolating but would still rather not answer the door to trick or treaters.
"We want you all to have a safe, happy and fun night - but remember, not everyone wants to celebrate in the same way," a spokesperson for Law Enforcement said.
Pictured: Two posters are available to download - one for those in isolation and another for people who don't want trick or treaters visiting their home.
"Our top tops if you're heading out:
Stick together
Go to houses of people you know
Wear something bright and take a torch
Have fun
Stay safe
If you see either of the posters in someone's window, don't go knocking."

"Our officers aren't afraid of no ghost and if there's an issue, who you gonna call? Us," the spokesperson added.
