One of St Peter Port's popular nightspots will be closed to the public from this Saturday and only partially open this evening.
Although the front bar of the Townhouse remains closed for repair work the main bar towards the back of the building will be open tonight.
Proprietor Sam Jarrold, who took on the lease for the club more than a decade ago, said the building is in desperate need of repair.
"Friday night the main bar will be open then all closed from Saturday when we'll be having a private party from 20:00," he said, warning regular customers of the impending closure.
The two roomed venue above Burton clothes shop in the High Street has previously operated as Cuba and Buddha Bar. Before that it was a restaurant.
