Three hospitalised after two accidents

Monday 09 September 2019

Two car accidents in less than 24 hours left three people needing hospital treatment.

On Friday afternoon, a car was involved in an accident near the Pulias Pond.

The accident had happened along Les Dicqs shortly after 16:00. Two people were travelling in the only car involved and both had to be taken to the Emergency Department at the PEH for treatment.

Guernsey Police are looking for any witnesses who may have seen what happened. You can call them on 725111 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

On Saturday afternoon, two vehicles were involved in an accident on Vale Road, which left it closed for around four hours while the emergency services dealt with the aftermath.

A spokesman for the island's Joint Emergency Services Control Centre said one person was taken to the Emergency Department at the PEH.
