The Smith Street branch of Lloyds Bank International is set to close for two to three weeks for major refurbishment.
The Town branch will be closed from 24 September for renovation.
Islands Director of Lloyds Bank International, Alasdair Gardner, apologised for the closure.
"Our other branches in Guernsey will remain open as normal and in a few, short weeks, our customers will benefit from an amazing state-of-the-art branch to support all their banking needs.”
Other Lloyd’s bank branches are located in St Martin's and St Sampson's.
When it reopens, the branch will act as the base for a variety of teams who are currently based at Sarnia House and Black Horse Finance on Lefebvre Street.
“I’m excited about the investment we are making to our Smith Street location in Guernsey," said Mr Gardner. "This is further evidence of our commitment to the island and providing the best support for our customers.”
