Guernsey's racing driver Sebastian Priaulx has passed his driving test, just one month after turning 17.
The teenager has been driving since he was 10 and competes around the world in global fixtures, including in British Formula 4 during 2018, after being last year's runner up on the Ginetta Junior Circuit.
The 17 year old had told Express on his birthday that he was very excited about reaching the landmark age, as despite being tipped for big things on the racing track he had to learn to drive and take his test like the rest of us.

Seb is the son of world touring car champion and British hill climb champion Andy Priaulx. Both were born and bred in Guernsey and started their racing careers in the island. Seb first started driving karts when he was 10 and has been involved with motor sport ever since, moving to cars on the racing track when he was 14.
He is sponsored by 1st Central which enables him to compete around the world and attend training camps with his dad and other British drivers including Harry Tincknell.
The trio were all in Lanzarote when Seb turned 17, and at the time he told Express he had his driving lessons booked in and was looking forward to learning to drive, explaining how different it was to his race licence:
"I have to get a licence to drive on the roads as licences for racing are totally different. It's exciting as it is totally different. I'll have my own transport to get around so I won't need to ask my mum and dad to pick me up from the gym or wherever I am anymore, it's amazing".
Seb will now be seen driving his mum's old car, a Fiat Abarth.
Jo Priaulx told Express how proud she and her husband are of their son who showed some unusual nerves when he headed for Bulwer Avenue yesterday to take his test: "Seb hasn't stopped smiling, he was so nervous. It really felt like we were going into a race-weekend! He worked really hard on the theory test and had six lessons with 1st Class Driving School.
"Andy and I are so happy and proud and excited he can now take us out and hopefully pick us up when needed...!"
Mrs Priaulx added: "His race season starts on the weekend of the 7 and 8 April at Brands Hatch in the F4 Championship with speeds up to 120mph - which he will not be doing in his Fiat Abarth!"
