At least 12 people have booked their seat in a Spitfire flight with opportunities still available this weekend and early next week if anyone else fancies a go too.
It's not cheap, with prices starting from £3,500 but for that you will get a 30minute flight circumnavigating the island.
The plane - owned by spitfires.com - is a two-seater Spitfire.
The first flight sessions are booked up for Friday 30 August with one space available on Saturday 31 August.
If there is demand, the company can also offer seven flights on both Monday and Tuesday next week.
All flights will be weather dependent, with the next few days looking like a mix of sunshine and clouds, with rain forecast on Saturday and Monday.
The events also coincide with a 'Wings and Wheels' open day at the Aero Club on Sunday.

The organisers of the Spitfire flights said those wanting to watch can either simply look up if they are near the coast, or head to the Aero Club.
"People can come to the Guernsey Aero Club to watch proceedings and look at the aircraft from the viewing area," said Simon Oliver from Spitfires.com.
"We’re circumnavigating the Island on every flight, so as long as you’re on the coast, you’ll see it!" he added.
For those actually in the planes, they will be strapped into the rear of the iconic aircraft in their very own cockpit which is kitted out with a full set of controls.
For those who want to, there will be the opportunity to take the controls and fly the legendary aircraft for a short time themselves.
The one-off event will be the first time that a Spitfire has taken off from and landed in Guernsey.
Matt Jones, Founder and Managing Director of Spitfires.com said it's something they've wanted to do for a while.
“We’ve wanted to offer Spitfire flights in Guernsey for many years," he said.
"With three two-seater Spitfires in our fleet, we are in a position to offer more flights in more locations than we ever have before.
"Whilst flying a Spitfire anywhere is a privilege, taking off from Guernsey Airport and heading towards the ruggedly beautiful coastline and turquoise water and on to sights such as Castle Cornet promises to be truly mesmerising. Even during the shortest of flights we offer, we will be able to circumnavigate the entire island, which is incredibly special for Guernsey residents who come to fly with us.”
Spitfire flights have previously been available from Jersey Airport, as well as from six airports or aerodromes across the UK.
The company was in Jersey this week offering the flights, but with Guernsey being smaller it's expected that each journey will offer a full circumnavigation of the entire island.
Mr Jones has previously said that if the flights are popular Spitfires.com might base a plane here annually offering further opportunities for passengers to book their own trip.
