Coast magazine has named Shell Beach as its number one destination for British bucket list breaks when the pandemic finally ends.
The UK magazine celebrates the best of the British coastline, hosting the Coast awards and various national campaigns.
“Rarely crowded, this stretch of coast is great for paddle-boarding and kayaking,” said Alex Reece of Coast magazine.

The beach in Herm was championed for the millions of tiny shell fragments that make up its pale white sand.
Shell Beach beat off competition from bays in the Scilly Isles, the Outer Hebrides and the Isle of Wight.
Jersey got a look in, with St Brelade’s Bay featuring 6th in the list.
At Coast, we’re dreaming of paradise island beaches like this one! Can you guess where it is?
