A 28-year-old denied breaking self-isolation rules twice in the space of a week, when he appeared in Guernsey's Magistrate's Court yesterday.
Deliveryman Martin Vasic, who returned to the island in July after having an operation, faced two counts of breaking the quarantine rules along with a further count of resisting arrest.
He chose to represent himself and entered not guilty pleas to all of the charges.
Mr Vasic is accused of breaching self-isolation on 30 July and again on 5 August. The charge against him for resisting police officers also relates to 5 August.

His case has been adjourned until the end of October, when the defendant will appear for a hearing ahead of his trial.
A number of people have already been sentenced in Guernsey's court for breaching quarantine, facing fines of up to £10,000.
