The Scrutiny Management Committee (SMC) has announced two upcoming public hearings to scrutinise the work of Education, Sport and Culture, as well as Policy and Resources.
The public is encouraged to follow the hearings and engage with the scrutiny process.
The SMC says both will be held over the coming week.
Members of the public are welcome to attend both hearings as observers. However, direct participation, such as asking questions or making comments, will not be permitted during the sessions.
Both hearings will be live-streamed on YouTube for those unable to attend in person.
Deputy Yvonne Burford, the President of the SMC, expressed the committee's commitment to transparency and accountability. She said "These hearings provide valuable opportunities to scrutinise the work of key committees and ensure that public interests are being served."

The SMC will examine the Committee for Education, Sport & Culture's progress in areas such as the Education Law, financial management, student attainment and behaviour, and sports and culture.

* Time: 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
* Location: Harry Bound Room, Les Cotils
This hearing will focus on key issues including housing, ongoing capital projects, transportation connectivity, and the island's financial situation.
