Drivers were left scratching their heads this morning as a bus suddenly came driving towards them, heading the wrong way down the one-way system between the filter near Hautes Capelles primary school and St Sampson's High School.
Pictures of the bus were quickly posted on social media, as it was caught driving against the traffic on Les Effards Road.
It was seen mounting the combined cycle and footpath to try and pass cars and motorcyclists.

A spokesperson from CT Plus said the business took matters like these seriously, and it was being investigated.
"CT Plus takes matters such as these seriously and the matter is being investigated. No one was affected and no other vehicles were involved," the spokesperson said.
On Facebook, people commented the driver might have diverted down the one way because of the closed roads in the area. CT Plus was able to confirm that the bus eventually got back on to the correct route without any incident.
The road the bus was on was changed to a one-way some years ago as part of the redevelopment of the road network around the then-new St Sampson's High and Le Murier schools.
